Climbing Wines Climbing wines are estate grown and produced in the cool climate region of Orange Australia. The region starts at 600 meters above sea level amongst the highest in Australia. These unique wines are very clean and elegant compared to most Aussie wines and are a must try! Climbing Wines Chardonnay $21 – Bright citrus flavors that linger on the palate. Nice creamy body. This wine works very well with a variety of tropical fish especially Mahi-mahi. Climbing Shiraz $21 – Not your typical Aussie Shiraz this is more European in style. Clean fruit with some earthiness and lots of plum on the palate. Try it with tomato based sauces, lamb or game. Climbing Merlot $21 – A very bright and elegant Merlot with intense dark berry flavors and a hint of cigar box on the nose. This wine pairs with sweeter sauces and veal very nicely. Two Hands Wines Two Hands is a negociant operation that produces some of the finest wines in the world from Australia’s premium growing regions. Angel’s Share Shiraz $55 – From the McLaren Vale this dense and opulent Shiraz has black cherry, espresso, and rich chocolate on the palate. A Sanders favorite and a must try! Brave Faces Shiraz-Grenache $55 - From the Barossa Valley this great food wine has bright red fruits, sweet spices and a hint of cedar on the nose. This is a big wine and needs to open so have it decanted. Sophie’s Garden Shiraz $110 – From the Padthaway region this extremely unique Shiraz is spicy with clove and pepper over blackberry fruit. It works great with barbeque and Asian flavors. Bella’s Garden Shiraz $110 – From the Barossa Valley this super dark and rich Shiraz is loaded with blackberry, dark cherry, cedar, and light spices and has a ridiculously long finish. Lilly’s Garden $110 – From the McLaren Vale here’s the big sister to the Angels Share. A serious wine by any measure this silky sexy wine has vanilla over rich plum with hints of espresso and spice.
